I'll be in a video . . .
I had lunch yesterday with my girl friend DeAnne who I haven’t seen I a few months. We were talking about how I need more money, she needs more money. She sells cosmetics, I am a makeup artist (went to school for this the last year of my marriage). Good combo. Great potential.
So as we talked she says, “Hey I know what we need to do, we need to make a three part DVD series of you doing make-up. We could sell them! Yeah, that’s what we need to do,” she said all breathy and eyes sparking with her new revelation. She doesn’t even know that my new career is with videos/film making only the little bit about the Red Book and Cotton Project I had a chance, at that point, to share with her. Well, inside I turn bright red because, shame on me, I never thought of it myself.

Well, inside I turn bright red because, shame on me, I never thought of it myself. I was thinking with the limited view of the old mindset of how make-up artists and cosmetic people sell product and generate money. LOL. So looks like I will be making my very own video’s. Never thought about me having videos. Hummm. This will be fun. So I’ll now be in a film, not just in the credits. Who would have ever thought? Goodness, this venture of ours is just a-growing. You know what else? I’m sort of glad that I didn’t see the video possibilities because by her coming up with it it it has become an affirming sign to the direction I am going with my life–without my seeking, business came to me.
Update: Yesterday worked more on our soon to be released video, had a class at the Apple store, spent time with my children, and about a million other related learning.

I did not know you went to lunch with deanne! well! anyways read two blogs, i like them! you repeat two of the same paragraps on the one you wrote yesterday. and i really like the one you wrote about us, very moving! anyways its looking and sounding good, keep up the good work!
Thank you for pointing out the repeated paragraph!! Once I read it I realized that the one that posted wasn’t the one with all the corrections and additions I had made. So the post now has those and doesn’t have the repeat paragraph.
