Cow web spinning, lessons, a surprise, and life . . .

Published by TheresaJane at 12:32 am under Uncategorized

Enjoyed 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep!! What that will do for a person.
Today was split this way:
1) continued spinning a cow web. Learning this software and having ideas for the site are beginning to take shape.
2) had a terrific meeting with Don: the laid off guy that created video for Charter. He jump started us with our camera and did a sort of entry level explanation about lighting, camera settings, and audio… It was all interesting, learned a lot. He is very good at what he does, we are thankful for him being in our lives. Next he’s going to meet with us to help us set up our recording studio with our green screen in our office space–how awesome is that? Green Screen! I’ve always wanted to do Green Screen–we just rented Friday. (SURPRISE!!! We now we have an office! I had meant to have a separate post announcing this Friday or Saturday because it was such awesome news but time just kept spilling through the hour glass. So at this point I thought it would be more fun to slip it in here and surprise you :) ) We’ll leave the studio set up all the time and have individuals in for recording . . . hummm, just had a thought need to create a sign: “do not open, recording”-cool,
3) back to cow web spinning
4)performed some much needed kitchen duty today and had a very self-conscious moment with all the eyes staring at me from inside the cabinet where the potatoes live and after accessing the results of the numerous lab experiments in the fridge, I pitched them,
Then: reading, blogging, reading, bed

You know it is said that if you want to keep your mind sharp and young you should regularly do new activities. Like say, use a different hand to brush your teeth. Well, my brain must be returning to the state of a toddler. I’m doing “new” with: Mac, new word processor, editing software, filming, lighting, creating a web site, learning the multiple functions to blogging, bunch of detailed other stuff, and then my local Wal-mart just went through a 90 day total re-vamp and nothing is the same, can’t hardly find a thing in there anymore, I wander like a homeless person, even Micheals is moving things all around, thank God cars haven’t changed!

Talk more tomorrow,
Theresa
