From House Wife To Film Maker

I got home form another successful workshop, poured a bowl of cereal, well if I’m going to be honest I will admit that I couldn’t decide between Frosted Mini Wheats and Chex Wheat Squares so I decided, why decide and poured both. One in one side, one in the other. I don’t ever do this it was a very bold move, however as I think about it’s very Gemini. Why have I not done it before?! Damn, I’ve been living a very limited life.

While I munched I duel tasked: created a Poll–which after much searching and puzzlement as to why the thing wouldn’t post I clicked the tiny “help” at the top of the page where it stores the info, not where I created it, and discover that polls are temporarily down while they iron out a few problems. Well, could have saved maga time had they made it unexcessable in the first place…– made changes to my blog, and downloaded Microsoft Word for Mac. Yes, I have held up a white flag with Pages. Like Linus, when his blanket was washed, I simply have gone through all the separation anxiety I can take. NO MORE NEW PROGRAMS, unless they are necessary! GIVE ME MY Microsoft Word! Now that it has successfully downloaded I am experiencing tremendous relief!

But, I’ve only left pages for the moment. I will return and master the program. Anyone who knows me will tell you that I don’t give up easy, if at all, and I don’t intend to give up on Pages. I’ll be back. . .

Now off to do some web page creating. . .
Wellll, I was off till Blessing popped in and visited for awhile. This has been a great day, we also ate lunch together earlier: spaghetti with hot sausage from: Fresh Market-yum and Country bread dripping in butter from Panara Bread–double yum, yum. (Since “Julie and Julia” I see butter, which I have always adored, in a whole new light. I mean really, Julia Childs and her hubby lived till 92 and 93 and look at how much butter they ate! Possibly it actually extends life and the government has been lying to us. I want to do anything I can to extend my life, so pass the butter!) While Blessing was here I decided to dig in and do some clicking around to try to figure out how to get pictures into my blog. As you see my figuring worked!! Thanks to Photobucket, and my friend Cathy telling me she uploaded pictures through there. However, I think I did it a long way round. But I’ll get it never fear. I’ll take the hard out of it. That’s another thing I do. Simplify. Everything.
