White rabbits . . .
Remember that back up book I bought for Joomla just in case?? Well what else can I say except following my policy of: “if you can return it get it” when stumped as to what to purchase, has paid off once again. Since the other, $44.95, book we were working with tapered off into: this is taking too long to decipher, it can’t be this hard. After nearly two hours of struggle I was set and determined to find the better way, whatever it took. I grabbed the back up: “Joomla! The Visual Quick Start Guide”, scanned the index to find what they had to say about this matter, tuned to its pages and suddenly the clouds parted, streaks of light poured through and all we had to do was follow as they took us racing through the information. This book is one in the computer book series that has a white rabbit running across the top part of the cover, all I have to say is, “follow those white rabbits.”
Worked for 13 hours between reading the books on Joomla and working with John, my son, when he got here around 4:30. Not only am I enjoying the time I get to spend with him, since time with him has waned way, way off once he entered his twenties four years ago, but his computer knowledge and ability to figure things out so lightening fast astound me–all those years of yelling at him to: “Get off the computer!” has paid off. I read, he clicks. We bounce off each other so well and when one isn’t getting it the other is. I’m having great fun working with him as an adult.
The fact that I’m almost always late comes as no surprise to anyone who knows me, least of all my children. So when I was about 8 minutes late to Dan’s soccer game, this bright and early morning, (after approximately 4 hours of sleep) he took no notice. Some times being late does have it’s advantages such as it kept me from having to swamp out into the dew drenched field when the coaches and parents do the: have a great game support moment. Although, on the other hand, I did suffer with being faced with a packed parking lot. After the game, which they won and Dan scored about five of the goals
, Dan and I went to Panara Bread, it was nice to be with just him.
And before I wrap up, lest I leave you hanging wondering how I did today I will tell you that I was my old self. The heart is much better. I’m back on track, shoulders squared, confident once again that life is going to work out beautifully and I will one day be glowing with happiness. And if you’re thinking that that was quick, let me assure you that yesterday wasn’t the only day of the “weightiness”, it had gone on for many days. Yesterday was the day of the clash. The day everything scrapped against each other and the “noise” became deafening, and I topped and dropped. However as tends to be the case with painful things, you top, you drop, you cry, you spill your guts to someone, and suddenly it runs it’s course and you move on. So I’ve moved on, for now. Possibly I won’t have to go through this again. Who knows. I haven’t been that bad in a long time actually, so no matter what, I should be good for a long while.

sometimes it’s just your body and your emotions saying”Hey, You, slow down! I need a break;so I’ll put you into a funk to get one.”
You know I think that you are absolutely correct. Funny thing happened earlier today I found a note I had scribbled onto an envelope when I was listening to a book on tape because it struck me so. What the character said was, “The exhausted mind is obsessions easiest prey.” When I saw that I stopped and thought, I think that’s why I went through the emotional down spin this week. You verified it.
