Chocolate cravings and Poptropica . . .
Staring into the white screen and all I can think is, “I want chocolate, I want chocolate.” It’s 9:20 PM, it’s dark, I’m in my jammies, it’s too late for a woman to reasonably go out alone, and I am having a serious attack. Scoured the cupboards searching for a morsel to appear. Then thinking, “Well, I did have that chocolate milkshake on the way home from doing the writing workshop, sooooo, it’s probably good that there is nothing from the kettles of Hersey in my house. Don’t want to overdue it after all. It’s a good thing this only happens a couple days of the month or I would be as big as a house!
Well, I’ve heard and obseverd a lot of the Poptropica game that Cal and Dan play on the internet, but this evening I have been drawn in as an active support person for Cal who is spending the night because he is having a bad cough due to allergies from the season change and will likely miss school tomorrow. We’re huddled up on my couch, me on my Mac chatting with you and him on my lap top. This weekend I had a brain storm and realized that since my Mac is all in one: computer inside screen, it’s very portable, so I brought my Mac into my living room and set it up on my end table. Now I can sit on the couch and open the back door and enjoy the great outside. Instead of the parking lot which is what I typically look out at when my Mac is parked on my desk. I have my maintenance man to thank for this because he put it in for me when another family moved and they left it. Love my screen door.
Well that’s all for me tonight, the body is calling out for sleep and I have no power to push through nor should I this night. It’s 10:03 and I feel like I’m setting a record for myself.
Night,Theresa
