From House Wife To Film Maker

There was no post yesterday. And yes I have a good reason Yesterday from 7-8 pm John1, John2, and I had had a phone conference because we were are almost finished with the web site for Red Book and Cotton we wanted John1 to see it, we need feed back. Well, John1 LOVES it, which is great and John2 and I are happy, no thrilled, to hear that. After John2 hung up John1 and I continued to talk, I transfered to the couch to stretch out for a minute, and well, right there during the conversation I fell asleep. BAM. Gone. That’s all folks . . . Crawled from bed today around 12 noon and returned to the couch.

Now, I’m sitting here in much need of a shower, mindlessly staring out my open deck door. Enjoying the beautiful shades of grey and white wisping through the sky bringing the gentle rain and refreshing cool breeze. Little circular ripples are forming on the surface of the “lake”, just past my deck, creating a panorama of continous motion supplying my mind with soothing entertainment. Nestled against the earth on the other side of my railing are three beautiful white, tan, and brown ducks pruning their feathers and occassionally speaking a quiet word to the to the other, and I then there’s me, pausing to share this moment with you. For the first time in weeks I’m feeling disconnected from my work, there is only now . . .

After a long pause from writing I’ve decided that a cup of lemon herbal tea, flavored with honey would be perfect. So, I’m off to make that.

PS. the “lake” outside my door is really just a very large pond, they like to call very large ponds lakes, here in Birmingham it gives them a feeling of being grandiose!
