Bushwaggled . . .
I am bushed, done a ton today. Had issues with getting the workshop books emailed to the printer and then when they printed them on their end there were issues. The odd thing was that right up until printing them every thing was, and I quote, “slick and pristine”. However the printing revealed a far different, and puzzling result, there were odd mistakes. Found this out early evening. So with the boys back with their dad I no time to waste. I plunged into the PC I normally do the books on-remember it’s been refusing to cooperate with me to get the books made–and worked through the issues it was having and got it back on track, ahhhhh the delight of righting computer issues, one of the many things our grandparents never had to fit into their schedules that our 21st century lifestyles has for us. But then, what would life be without computers???? Parish the thought, moving right past that one . . . So I re-made what needed fixing and emailed them all around 11:15 pm. They should be terrific now.
Had meeting with my life coach today and discussed the “not so pleasant news” last week. And now there’s some sunlight poking through and more elbowing for space.
Had a super fun time with Caleb and Daniel today. We did the Walmart Dan’s got birthday money to spend thing, he’s considering a movie camera. Great choice. The hold up is the price tag which equals, “All my money vanishing, just like that,” Dan said as he waved his hands in the air and snapped his fingers. True, true, but still I want him to get it so I can see what he can do with it. I think I’ve mentioned he’s my artistic one, . . . always creating something out of nothing and drawing all the time, reminds me of my friend Cathy (she’s always blogging about her creating: http://cathyatthereddoor.blogspot.com) With his creative talents I’m thinking some pretty great stuff could evolve, maybe he’ll be a Steve Marsh type some day. (BTW that is Cathy’s son, talent runs in that family. That site is not of his artsy photos he shoots, those he posts on facebook, how to get them over here or link them, humm not something I want to tackle tonight, there’s always tomorrow)
While still at the “store where you can get it all” we shopped for some dinner. I was met with the usual, “Can we get this, please . . .” that normally my neck is pre-conditioned and waiting on alert to turn the head right to left in response to such pleas, seemed to have had a malfunction because my boys were dancing all the way to the check out. But here’s the thing, when attempting to duplicate the savory memories of certain carry out delicacies only to be found in upstate NY–NY style pizza piled high with “everything but anchovies,” thick crust and stringy cheese paired with chicken flips, made with fresh chicken tenders, lightly breaded and deep fired without not a trace of grease–through the high end yuppie frozen food choices with their slick packaging, expect disappointment and indigestion.
Then we choose a movie from Red Box and I was totally determined that in spite of going to bed at 6:45 am and getting up at 9 am- I was going to stay awake . . . I hear it was great and I really should watch it.
Well, it’s 12:38 am, night,
Love ya,
Theresa
