Nuts and Crow eating . . .
I thought I published my post last night, but I guess I didn’t. Ugh. Well can’t do anything about it except publish it now. Which I’ve done. Now you can read my post I was so diligent to create last night (well tech. this morning as it was 2 a.m. when I sat down to write it)
Also while at it, eating crow… I posted that Janis Joplin sang the “White Rabbit” song. Not so. Totally wrong. It was Grace Slick. Note the corrections to the prior posts. I have a reader friend to thank for that! Who were being sweet and sent me a private email to alert me and protect me from humiliation. Do you recall me mentioning I haven’t listened to music in something like 27 years? It was a while back and it’s in my profile if I’m not mistaken. Well, okay, I’ve listened some. So it’s not been “haven’t listened at all”, but if I were to put it on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the greatest. I would say I’ve listened .02 over the years. So with that much time and distance the memory got, shall we say, faint.
The other little thing about me is that I am terrible with names. I don’t seem to retain them. Even five minutes after told one. Don’t know why. I sort of work on this flaw. But obviously not enough to make the problem disappear.
So put time and name memory deficiency together and you’ve got a: No big surprise I messed this up.
I do apologize. I did think it was Janis. Honestly the name Grace Slick didn’t even flicker a birthday candle of light in my memory. If it had I would have looked it up. Oh and I just remembered, my reader friend gave a possibility to the mess up: “possibly all the drugs made my rabbit gray!” That sent me ROFL! And that’s possible. And sad at the same time. Because the drugs can have their lingering effects and I regret the day I messed with them. So maybe it’s a combo deal. But what I do know for sure is: Jefferson Airplane was my absolute favorite… back in the day. Oh, all right, turn them on today and you’ve got me…

-crow all eaten and now digesting.
-and if you have a good eye and know that my bird is a raven you’re better at bird IDing then me. I only knew because I was told by the description. That being said I figured, close enough. Since this is what I could get with my free choices at Dreamstime.

Don’t feel too bad. It seems a lot of people think janis did it at woodstock. WHO KNOWS, maybe she did. But it is Grace who did it as a part of Jefferson Airplane that is the recording you hear.
Ah, so there’s confusion is there? Huh. Well, then, I’m not alone. LOL
