Growing, healing, transforming. . .

Published by TheresaJane under Becoming me,divorce

I don’t think I mentioned how the whole counseling thing went this past Tuesday with my ex.  So I’m going to back up and mention the session.  It went extremely well.  The best session yet.  Scott said something that he did throughout the marriage and it made me break down and cry.  It was very releasing in a very positive way.  Very healing.

Zac and School and Entrepreneurs . . .

Published by TheresaJane under Zac

So I got an email from Zac’s teacher.  Here’s chunks of it: “I am emailing out of concern for Zach.  How is he?   I haven’t heard an update from his latest visit to the doctor.  If he is concerned about his health I am certain he is not worried about school.   Since we have started the modified schedule we have gotten less work out of Zach… Can you please give me an Continue Reading »

Four broken nails, a tiff, and globs of sticky honey . . .

Published by TheresaJane under Zac

Started off the day early, early by taking Zac to a doctor’s appointment with his urologist.  In my truck there was a travel mug leaking milk on my car mat.  The first clue was the odor that hit my nostrils when I opened the door.   Took the mat out and a chipped nail.

The result of the doctor appointment was, he was a little nervous with the test results so he increased the dosage of one of Zac’s meds.  But it wasn’t anything that was unnerving, thankfully.  Then I took Zac home, made him lunch, chipped another nail, and went to work till 4.

The list of “Undones” . . .

Published by TheresaJane under Uncategorized

Some of the simplest things in life get left undone.  Others keep getting pushed back due to more urgent concerns.  These are on “the list”.  They get talked about.   They’re supposed to be discussed and are on agendas even.  But then the poor little things keep getting snipped off and left dangling.

Donald Trump, Think Big and Kick Ass . . .

Published by TheresaJane under bookkeeping

I have admired Trump for many years now.  The guy amazes me.  And lately he’s been popping up in my life.  First by way of the game I bought my daughter Grace for her b-day.  She requested his game, called, no surprise: Trump.  Believe it or not I forgot to give it to her and found it squirreled away on Monday this past week, in my closet still waiting to be taken Continue Reading »

A nice day . . .

Published by TheresaJane under My childhood, children

It’s 1:05 am.  And I’m here reflecting on my day.  Counting my blessings of four hours of work, a evening shopping trip with Blessing, Zac, and Grace to Old Navy and Then a quick 20 minute Apple store visit, before they closed, for Zac to get his hands on the iPad, a stop at Red Box, then to get Cal and Dan who had no interest in our shopping trip, then to my home to watch Continue Reading »

Zac, my mother, receipts, and life . . .

It’s 11:10 pm and every catchy idea I had for starting my blog has slipped into a deep crevice in my brain, rendering me void.
Blank.
Lost for words.  Why is it when I’m out running through life I come up with the best starters/topics for my blog?

Morning . . .

Published by TheresaJane under children

It’s morning.
It’s quiet.
I’ve been up for awhile.
I’m sipping a cup of herbal tea.
My sons are sleeping and I’ve looked at each as they slumber in their dream state and I smiled.  I thanked God for them.  And prayed to ask how to be better at being their mom.

I love the time before my children wake.  Always have.  There’s no other time in the world like it.  A time to reflect.  A time to cherish.  A time to appreciate each one for who they are.

I hope your morning is finding you so thankful…

Good morning,
Theresa Jane

Acting on my new focus . . .

So with every focus there needs to be a plan…well, at least that’s how I am.  And I have come up with one.  My plan on getting my joy back.  Returning to my otterness.

First, I have made a commitment to me to make this happen.  To be someone that when others think of me, they visualize smiles and laughter, bubble and perk.
