From House Wife To Film Maker

It’s 10:40 and I’ve been going all day.  Started the day with an appointment for Zac.  Then with him onto where my daughter will be taking an apartment to zero in on an apartment choice.  Then shopping for the this and the that that she needs for her apartment.  Then to work and now home.  And really I’m ready to slump and do nothing but maybe a movie.  The go go has caught up.  So till tomorrow.  Thank you for your prayers and love.  Zac has had a good day today, but is a sleepy boy who is crumbled down into himself sleeping on my couch next to me.

So what happened yesterday to me and my site?  The strangest thing…  The payment I made to the site we use to host our web sites told me that I had requested their payment be disputed and charged back to me.  So, crash bang all the sites were shut down.  Took time yesterday and today emailing, calling, on-line chatting, and an additional $50 to fix the problem to get up and running again.  I now need a letter from my bank verifying that I never challenged that charge in order to Continue Reading »

Cont. on Zac

This past Wednesday we had an appointment with a Kidney specialist.  Hours later we exited the building with loads of information to process and a stack of papers for a diet Zac needs to follow.  All the news and the numbers on his blood work was, well, troubling.  All except one number.  The potassium level.  That went from…”Zac should/could have died of a heart attack, to his levels being NORMAL. Within one week.  What happened within that one week?

My Chinese sign is the dragon.  Something  I didn’t know that till I was 39.  At Disney’s Epcot.  Our first real family vacation to speak of in 21 years of marriage.  The ex hadn’t been into vacations…  The money.  The time.  The effort…  We went as one of his, almost non-existent, attempts to save our marriage.  Before that time I never even knew the Chinese had their own astrology thing going.  When I discovered it I thought it was very intriguing, especially my sign, the dragon.  I also think the timing of the discovery was interesting.

Okay, there are times in life when you begin to think, “Are you kidding?”   Days like yesterday and today:

Yesterday:
1) My lap top is dying a slow, painful death.  This I discovered yesterday.  When it wouldn’t turn on.  Nothing worked  
2) Then yesterday my mouse for my Mac up and squeeked it’s last squeek.  So getting on the internet or anything for that mattter wasn’t happening.

I’m going to snap off this blog to say… again, my phone is zonked, my internet is intermittent and my TV on Demand is acting up.  The wonderful repair man is coming in the morning.

Well, I’m finally back.  There’s been two reasons why you haven’t seen me for a couple days. 1) my internet, cable, and phone services have been intermittent and wonky and 2) I’ve needed an overall break from everything.  I have the ability to go and go and go and go for several months, seven days a week, and then I just hit a platue and I need to stop.
