Why do we say, “from here to Timbuktu’?
Why do I always get a call for a job that will give me oodles of hours on the same day that there is something important scheduled?
Why is it that I get a firm job offer with the job with less hours and the one with three times as many is dragging their feet getting back with me?
Why is it that you can go to the store and forget the same thing over and over again?  You can tell yourself not forget it till the cows come home and you still forget even if it’s on a list that you’re carrying and you really need it.
Why that phrase, “til the cows some home,” what’s that about?  Where did it originate?
Why can you have a job started yesterday with a business, told it would be ready yesterday, but it wasn’t, so then today by 4, only to get there at 5 and it’s not ready so you have to find something to do for the next two hours because you have to have it for tomorrow?
Why do daughters when they’re 11 going on 12 and 16 going on 17 become so snippy, snotty, arrogant, pig headed, and mouthy toward mothers, when we/I’m just trying to run center on the expression of stupidity that the two did to each other causing them to hurt each other?   Such as the older one opening and eating from the bag of chips that the younger one told her not to even open because she had to bring it to school the next day for her project thing, causing the younger to get angry and shove her against the counter.
Why is it that ex-husbands think that it is okay to say some of the God awfullest comments to their ex-wives–the ones they vowed to love till they died once upon a wedding–is it because we/I am not a human anymore because I’m their ex?
Why is it easier to eat chocolate then vegetables?
Why does Hobby Lobby close at 8 pm rather than 9?
Why when you finally remember to buy a light bulb for the recessed lighting in the kitchen does another blow right after you put a new one in in the other corner?
Why is it that the little things seem to take forever to get done?  Like taking the time to figure out how to post pictures in my blog.
