Shivering cold

A Walmart bag
atop my head
dash to my truck.

Off to “there”…

found in my truck

a seat.

Shaking off rain
wish I had
gloves.
Making my way
to the
far away counter.

No ones here.
No one in sight.
Time is ticking.
Don’t want to wait
Other things to get.
I’ll be back…

upside down.
Dodging
Rippling puddles
Wish I had gloves.

Dart
from my truck
inside to make
lunch.
A quick meal of
veggies and pasta.

Found my good umbrella…

Car Pool line
standing still.
Guess its the rain??
Finally
two boys in tow
now back to “there”.

Pouring down rain,
Wind whips umbrella
Dodging
Rippling puddles,
but now I
have gloves.
